Ios10New information provided by the company Elcomsoft reveals a fatal security flaw in the latest version of iOS 10. According to the company, passwords to access iTunes backups are much easier to crack with Apple's latest operating system. It has been reported that cracking the password to access these backups is approximately 2,500 times faster with iOS 10, and this is due to the fact that Apple switched their hashing algorithm, allowing it to be easier to hack into the iTunes backup password.

Fortunately, Apple released a statement saying that they are working on the problem and it will be fixed in an upcoming security update. For now, though, they recommend to keep your computer safe and protected by difficult passwords. We at AppleBlend think that this shouldn't be too big of an issue, but Apple definitely needs to release an update soon before it becomes blown out of proportion.

As always, leave a comment below if you have any additional input. Thanks!
